Dogs and Wrinkles

Does anyone else hate ironing as much as I do? No matter what I do, I can't get a shirt/skirt/pair of pants pressed perfectly and it just wrinkles in 5 minutes anyway.

Truthfully, I often avoid wearing certain items of clothing just so I won't have to iron them. Ugh.

Now on to a more friendly, furry note.

Most mornings when I leave the house, Jonah Bell is in one of these two positions.

It kind of breaks my heart a little. It makes me want to stay at home all day and lay around the house with her.

She does love the new dog bed I bought her at Costco for only $17.99! It's filled with cedar chips (which apparently keeps the fleas away) and smells pretty fresh too.

Before meeting the manfriend, I knew I liked dogs, but my life was just too busy to take care of one on my own. And now, I can't imagine not having a dog. Jonah is my morning walking buddy and a great stress reliever when I need it. Plus, she's just so freaking adorable all of the time. Are you a dog or cat person?

I actually like ironing... I know, I know. Very odd. But it's really relaxing for me? Except I do NOT like to iron dress pants. I suck at that. But I love ironing button downs and have gotten quite good at it!

I can't say I am really an animal person... I didn't grow up with them around me, so I don't know if I would ever have a pet... But if I had to choose between teh 2, I'd pick a dog.

I'm really bad at ironing so I only buy wrinkle-resistant clothes. That's weird for me since I am Martha Stewart at every ever household task. For some reason perfect ironing eludes me! I love your outfit, by the way.

I never iron. Ever! My clothes are constantly wrinkled. Meh! Haha

I am both :-) I love Webster to death and he is such a funny little house companion that actually makes me laugh every single day BUT I can't wait until we have a big enough place (with a yard) and can get a dog! I always wish I had a dog when I go for runs!

I fail at ironing. I always just throw my shirt in the drier while I'm showering and hope it takes care of the wrinkles. It's amazing my office lets me in the door every day.

I suck at ironing and just happen to live in a country where people iron their sheets and underwear.

Your dog has the sweetest face. I love pets and can't categorize myself as a cat or dog person because I've had amazing encounters with both.

I put a damp cloth in the dryer and throw in my shirt. I've ironed more shirts in hotel rooms than any other place.

I'd love a dog, but MH isn't a fan and I need to split the responsibility of pet ownership with somebody.

L - I need a closeup of those shoes, stat. And, as always, Jonah Bell is adorable. I am excited that I get to see her and YOU in a WEEK! Oh, and the manfriend too.

I am a huge dog person. All of my childhood dogs have passed away so I now borrow my bosses dogs. They are great to have around and play with. They use to come to the office with us, but we moved so they can't come anymore.
Fun to hear all your pet preferences and ironing likes/dislikes. Thank goodness I don't need to wear suits daily for work.
She IS adorable ;) D wants a dog so bad, but we can't have one in this apt. Eventually...

On the other note, I avoid wearing/buying things that require Ironing. Definitely not my "thing"...
Mos def a dog person. Unfortunately, after ironing we have to take the roller tap to our clothes...OR else look like piggies.

There are many days where I would like to trade places with or join my dog...instead of go to work.

Oh, well. Maybe in my next life!

Your dog is beautiful.

Yikes. Why did my comment post twice? And, I meant roller tape...oops.

I recently bought an iron and ironing board specifically for ONE pair of work pants that wrinkle horribly. Otherwise, I freaking hate ironing.

And I'm definitely a dog person! I looove Costco's doggy beds! They smell so fresh and I love that they're washable. (And you don't have to iron them!)
Kara-that's probably torturous that you have to buy an iron just for one pair of pants. I'm glad I'm not the only one who dislikes or avoids the ironing thing.

What a cute pup!! She looks so comfy.

I thought I was a cat person, until we got our greyhound 4 years ago (she's like a big cat anyway, right?) When I have stayed home during the day before, I learned that all she does during the day is nap anyway! One of those two positions you pictured :)
