Out of it
Both mentally and blogilly(I know it's not a word), I feel out of it. For ten days I got about 4-5 hours of sleep and took in my fair share of athletes, amazing track & field competition and track fans from all over the world. July 4th was just another day of competition with a small fireworks display to complete the night. The runners got together post-meet many nights to enjoy food and a few beers while rubbing elbows with some of the fabulous athletes and fans. We were in our own little piece of heaven.
Last night's nine hours of sleep and a cup of strong coffee this morning haven't quite pulled me out of the crazy exhaustion, but I'm on the right track. After sleep comes catching up on everyone's blogs (and work of course b/c next week I'm off to Pittsburgh for a marketing conference).
