Before running my first 1/2 marathon in 2006, I proclaimed I could NEVER run 26.2 miles. After coming home from the Nashville Country Music 1/2 Marathon, I signed up for the Portland Marathon that was just six months later. There began my obsession with long distance running.
My big scary running goal is to qualify for and run the Boston Marathon. I missed it by 33 seconds in 2012.
Nothing on the books just yet, but I'm hoping to register for a few 'post-baby' races in the next few months as motivation to train.
