I really...I will pretty much echo what Amber said. I really want that sub-2 hour half, and I have really done the work to try to achieve that goal! If it doesn't happen, there will be other races.

After I left that bad job I had before, I really doubted msyelf and thought that maybe the confident smart girl I used to be got lost for ever. But I feel back to myself now that I am back working for a great compnay in a position that is a perfect fit for me!Lisa from Lisa's Yarnshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05335500882510597919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3099670252831293133.post-77453245158702522822011-09-07T12:07:04.856-07:002011-09-07T12:07:04.856-07:00I love the life lessons we get simply from pushing...I love the life lessons we get simply from pushing our limits in areas that surprise us. You should NEVER question what you can do, just assume its possible, and that it doesn't have to be someone else's joy. I'm going to have to dig real deep on race day, but I'm sure I can do it.

That being said, if I don't make my time goal, I don't want to be too mad at myself. I still want to really focus on having a great run and enjoying myself in Victoria! So if a sub-2 half isn't in the cards for THIS race that doesn't mean I CAN'T do it. If that makes sense :)Amberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05185652640389232120noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3099670252831293133.post-5531204705916050082011-09-07T09:27:31.570-07:002011-09-07T09:27:31.570-07:00Great post! I know that I'm capable of achieving goals in certain areas of my life, but the career thing just seems SO much harder. Why is that?? I'm proud of you for putting yourself out there and working for what you want. The hard work will pay off, just like training for a race.Michellehttp://trailsandtreats.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
