You're so lucky that you have such beautiful places to run in.missrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03595843215458849973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3099670252831293133.post-6458311676698986472014-01-20T15:24:32.815-08:002014-01-20T15:24:32.815-08:00The most recent Jillian Michaels podcast has some ...The most recent Jillian Michaels podcast has some really interesting insight around how women's bodies are meant to carry a little extra fat, especially in the hips and stomach area, and that we need to find a balance and not strive for perfection. It was really interesting.

Great job getting in your workouts and miles despite being so busy! I have been working out almost every morning for the last two weeks and it has really made a difference in my days. I'm also noticing a huge difference in my body since doing regular strength training for the last 8 weeks now. The scale isn't moving that much but I'm feeling fitter and more confident. That has been the case for me. I am definitely not in as good of shape as I used to be. I work out 5-6 days a week, but it's not the same as when I was logging high mileage weeks, but I have had to let it go.

I am glad you've fit some great runs in, though. I always love seeing pictures of where you run as it's so beautiful!

I haven't seen any movies lately, but my favorite show is Top Chef. It's one of the few that i record and make time to watch on the weekends. An area of my life that I am trying to be more kind to myself about is my fitness level. I have been getting pretty frustrated lately by the things I am not able to do and it really has brought me down, so I am trying to remember that I can do more now than I could 6 months ago - and hopefully I can say the same 6 months from now.Lisa from Lisa's Yarnshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05335500882510597919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3099670252831293133.post-6291580280181036822014-01-19T16:16:20.608-08:002014-01-19T16:16:20.608-08:00Nice work running to the top of the butte! I'm working on that sort of thing as well, but it is really hard!

We are watching Breaking Bad. It's addicting.

I can't think of a specific area of my life that I'm being easier on myself, but just in general I'm trying to go with the flow a bit more.
